Network Description

Dallas, Texas (3000 Irving)

Our Dallas dataceter (InterNAP) utilizes direct connections with the backbone carrier's network. Our network connections are diversely redundant through multiple 100Mbps to 1000Mbps (gigE) connections, burstable to OC-3, OC-48 and OC-192 capacity. Our network speed is at least 50x faster than T1 line and at least 2x faster than T3 line, which are standard connectivities used by many hosting companies. We use only the best appliances to deliver your valuable data: Cisco and Riverstone Metro routers/switches with redundant power supply. Our premium network is configured with BGP and fail-over settings to prevent down time with multi fiber entry.

Chicago, Illinois (350 Cermak)

Our Chicago datacenter (InterNAP)provides premium data center services for secure and reliable server colocation. Internet Business Exchange. (IBX®) centers serve as core hubs for critical IP networks and Internet operations worldwide. With direct access to more than 200 networks, including all of the top global Tier 1 networks, Equinix's network-neutral IBX centers and services overcome the limitations of existing data center, network and Internet operations through direct interconnection to the largest aggregation of networks for unmatched service diversity, flexibility and reliability. At Chicago Equinix, customers can directly access the providers that serve over 90% of the world's Internet networks and users.

Los Angeles, California (611 Wilshire)

Our Los Angeles datacenter (Level 3), is one of Southern California's premier data centers boasting superior infrastructure, connectivity and convenience in a downtown Los Angeles location. Level3 has been focused on delivering premier services over one of the world's most advanced, IP-optimized networks. Level 3 owns and maintains over 39,500 intercity route miles, and makes more than 77,000 intercity route miles available to customers.

New York, New York (75 Broad)

Our New York data center (InterNAP) has engineered one of the fastest and most reliable networks in the world. It delivers the lowest latency in the industry along with zero packet loss. The network is built based on a series of dedicated links between all of our facilities using multiple high-speed connections. We have strategic peering relationships with over 500 networks and we utilize four Tier 1 upstream providers (MCI, Savvis, AT&T and Sprint) to ensure continued high performance. Peering lets us reduce latency between the networks, avoid additional third-party network costs, and pass the savings on to you.

San Francisco, California (365 Main)

Our San Francisco data center (InterNAP) is designed to give you the highest possible performance and reliability. It provides true global network connectivity with speeds up to OC-192 (10 Gbit/s). It is part of the largest IP network in the world carrying a single AS (autonomous system) number, our backbone provides better performance than those combining partner networks and multiple independent providers. Your traffic can travel farther on one network, ensuring fewer ‘hops’ which provides better security and lower latency.

Atlanta, Georgia (250 Williams)

Our Atlanta data center (InterNAP) has developed proprietary route-control technology, its ASsimilator platform, which overcomes the limitations of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). This technology monitors the performance of each backbone, routing your traffic across the best path, and guaranteeing faster and more reliable data delivery than traditional routing methods. The Internap route-control technology considers path characteristics like latency, packet loss, route stability, and congestion when making routing decisions. Decisions are made dynamically and automatically to account for network performance changes, without the need for manual intervention.
